Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to The Neuro-Affirming Partnership Ltd. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They govern your use of our website (hosted by Squarespace) and the purchase of our coaching, mentoring, group programmes, B2B educational services and Digital Downloads. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

We have written these terms to be as clear and accessible as possible, removing unnecessary legal jargon so you know exactly where our boundaries lie.

1. Who We Are

  - Company Name: The Neuro-Affirming Partnership Ltd

  - Company Registration Number: 17089526

  - Registered Office: 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ United Kingdom

  - Contact Email: hello@neuroaffirmingpartnership.com

2. Strict Non-Clinical & Non-Medical Disclaimer

Inspired by best practices in the global coaching industry, we must be absolutely clear about our scope of practice.

  - Not Medical Treatment: The Neuro-Affirming Partnership Ltd provides non-clinical coaching, mentoring, psychoeducation, and strategic lifestyle support. We are not clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical practitioners.

  - Not a Substitute: Our services, frameworks, and group programmes are not a substitute for professional medical advice, psychiatric diagnosis, trauma therapy, or clinical treatment.

  - No Crisis Support: We are not an emergency service. We do not provide crisis intervention or out-of-hours mental health support. If you or someone you know is in crisis, you must contact emergency services (999), your GP, or a dedicated crisis line (e.g., 111 or Samaritans).

  - Reliance on Information: Any information provided on this website, in our materials, or during our sessions is for educational and coaching purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and any decisions you make based on our coaching.

3. Our Services & Age Requirements

We provide remote, online services via Google Meet.

  - Adults (25+): 1:1 coaching, Couples Coaching (where at least one partner is neurodivergent), and Group Programmes.

  - Young People (12-24): 1:1 mentoring. If the client is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms, complete the intake forms, and provide consent and emergency contact details before services commence.

  - Organisations (B2B): We provide bespoke Group Programmes and CPD training ring-fenced for neurodivergent and neurotypical employees, managers, executives, governance boards and educational staff.

- Digital Downloads: we provide information, advice and guidance in the form of educational materials and resources to support individuals, couples, families, employees and organisations to become more neuro-affirming.

4. Payments, Fees & Buy-Now-Pay-Later

We do not offer single, pay-as-you-go sessions to the public. We offer foundational 6-week packages. All prices are in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

  - Consumers (B2C): All packages and group programmes must be paid for in full prior to the first session. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

  - Buy-Now-Pay-Later (Clearpay): We offer flexible payment options via Clearpay at checkout. If you choose this option, you are entering into a legally binding credit agreement directly with Clearpay, not with us. We are not responsible for Clearpay’s approval processes, terms, or any late fees you may incur.

  - Organisations (B2B): Corporate and educational services will be invoiced directly. Invoices must be paid via BACS transfer within 14 days of the invoice date, and always prior to the commencement of the service. Late commercial payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Rescheduling, Expiry & The 48-Hour Boundary

To protect the time and energy of our neurodivergent practitioners, we enforce

strict scheduling boundaries.

  - The 48-Hour Rule (1:1 & Couples): You may reschedule or cancel a session up to 48 hours before the start time using the link in your Acuity Scheduling email. If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend with less than 48 hours’ notice, that session is forfeited and deducted from your package.

  - Group Programmes: Group sessions rely on a set schedule. If you miss a group session, it cannot be rescheduled, refunded, or rolled over.

  - Package Expiry: To ensure momentum, all 6-week foundational packages expire 100 days from the date of purchase. Our ongoing integration packages provide 6 sessions over 3-6 months and will expire 200 days from the date of purchase. Any sessions not booked and completed within this window will be permanently forfeited without a refund.

6. Refunds & Statutory Rights (UK Law)

We operate in strict accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  - Consumer 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (B2C): If you are a member of the public, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to change your mind and request a full refund, provided your services have not started.

  - Waiving Your Right to a Refund: If you choose to book your first session or attend a group programme within the 14-day cooling-off period, you explicitly consent to the services starting and waive your right to a full refund.

  - No Partial Refunds: Because our 6-week packages are designed as a complete, foundational framework, we do not offer partial refunds if you decide to stop attending halfway through.

  - Business Exemption (B2B): The Consumer Rights Act does not apply to Business-to-Business contracts. Refunds or cancellations for organisational bookings (corporate groups, schools, organisations) are governed exclusively by the bespoke contract or proposal signed prior to invoicing.

7. Intellectual Property (IP) & Digital Content

Our coaching and mentoring frameworks, psychoeducational worksheets, slides, and group materials are the exclusive Intellectual Property (IP) of The Neuro-Affirming Partnership Ltd.

  - Personal Use Only: When you purchase a package, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our materials for your own personal growth (or internal organisational understanding for B2B clients).

  - No Resale or Distribution: You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or resell our materials without our explicit written permission.

  - No Recording: To protect the privacy and psychological safety of all clients, you are strictly prohibited from recording any 1:1, Couples, or Group video/audio sessions.

8. Acceptable Use & Digital Boundaries

  - Communication: We communicate via email during our working hours 9am-5pm UK time (GMT). We do not provide support, coaching, or mentoring outside of formal sessions via WhatsApp, SMS, or social media messaging unless in prior agreement with the client, in accommodating their most impactful communication style because of their neurodivergence.

  - Group Etiquette: In group settings, you agree to treat all members with neuro-affirming respect. Discriminatory, abusive, or highly disruptive behaviour will result in immediate removal from the group without a refund.

  - Service Contracts for Coaching, Mentoring and Group Programmes: Following purchase of our services, and prior to commencement of services you are required to sign a service contract that will clearly outline the nature of the service and the expectations of conduct and communication by both parties (Purchasing client and The Neuro-Affirming Partnership) during the delivery of service. These documents must be read, signed and returned before commencement of service.

  - Tech Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and access to a functioning camera and microphone to use Google Meet.

9. Limitation of Liability

  - To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, The Neuro-Affirming Partnership Ltd, its directors, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, business, or personal data) arising from your use of our services.

  - Our total financial liability to you, for any claim arising out of this agreement, shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific package or service in question.

  - We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Safeguarding

By accepting these terms, you also acknowledge our Safeguarding Policy. We reserve the right to break confidentiality and contact emergency services, Local Authorities, or your Emergency Contact if we believe there is a serious risk of harm to yourself, a child, or others.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
