Private Family Support

neurodiversity coaching, mentoring and mediation for individuals, couples and families:

‘from surviving to thriving’

  • Our small caseload of private clients support neurodivergent individuals, couples, and families navigating educational, family and professional pressures.

  • Led by Maggie Rait (twenty-five years in Global Day and Boarding Education) and Mark Rait (twenty-five years across Executive Search, Senior Management in Health and Social Care, Employability, Foreign Embassy Communications, Mediation and Neurodiversity Coaching)

  • Trained in accredited Neurodiversity Coaching, Mentoring and Family Mediation, and with lived experience of Autism and ADHD - as individuals and parents - our whole-family, systemic approach helps parents to understand and implement evidence-based, neuro-affirming principles and practices at home.

specialist neurodiversity support

  • coaching & mentoring:

We work systemically with young people, adults and parents to support ADHD, Autism, AuDHD and Specific Learning Differences.

You will learn about the neurodivergent brain’s unique operating system, and understand behaviour in the context of neurology, not personality or character.

Our neuro-affirming principles and practices foster emotional regulation and collaboration to reduce masking, guilt and shame.

  • couples coaching:

Generic couples counselling does not address the impact of neurodivergence and the root causes of relational distress - arising from unmet sensory, emotional, and communication needs.

Our neuro-affirming coaching and mentoring is underpinned by the principles of family mediation, to help neurodivergent or mixed-neurotype partnerships move past conflict and disconnection, dismantling resentment, and building collaboration rooted in mutual understanding and nervous system safety.

  • mediation & advocacy:

When communication between a school and a family collapses in relation to neurodivergence, parents can feel cornered and schools defensive.

With two decades of educational and pastoral leadership in day and boarding, alongside accredited mediation, we are a trusted bridge between parents and schools. We facilitate constructive, solutions-focused dialogue, audit reasonable adjustments, and resolve high-stakes disputes - safeguarding educational placements with informed collaboration.
